Renesas Electronics increases production capacity of IGBT and other power semiconductor products at Kofu plant in Yamanashi Prefecture

Renesas Electronics officially restarted the previously closed Kofu factory in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan to increase the production capacity of power semiconductor products such as IGBT. The company pledged to spend 90 billion yen to install a 12-inch silicon wafer production line in the existing factory.
