Challenges and prospects of Flash LiDAR in long-distance applications

Although Flash LiDAR performs well in short-distance applications, it faces challenges in long-distance applications. The main problem is that the effective distance is too short to meet the needs of long distances. However, with the continuous development of VCSEL technology, it is expected that this defect will be overcome within 2-3 years, thus realizing LiDAR that is no different from a camera.
