ACC receives 1 billion euro loan to support expansion of Gigafactory in northern France

Despite the sluggish performance of the European electric vehicle market, ACC still plans to increase production. To this end, the company has signed a new loan, which is guaranteed by ACC's two major shareholders, automakers Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz Group, and is worth about 1 billion euros. The funds will be used to finance the construction of the second production block of the super factory in northern France. Currently, the factory already operates a plant with a maximum capacity of 15 GWh, and a second 13GWh plant is under construction. ACC also plans to build a third production block at the plant, which will bring the total capacity of the base to 40 GWh.
