MTC announced investment in new project, focusing on semiconductor laser chips for optical communication

On December 21, Shenzhen MTC announced that it plans to invest in a new project through its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen MTC Semiconductor or its subsidiaries, aiming to build an optical communication semiconductor laser chip production line with an annual output of 100 million pieces. The production line will focus on the production of VCSEL laser chips and optical communication semiconductor laser chips. The investment in the first phase of the project will not exceed RMB 500 million.
