Rohm turns to 8-inch wafer production for silicon carbide power semiconductors

Rohm plans to switch to silicon carbide power semiconductor production on an 8-inch wafer line in 2025 and start operations at the end of 2024. The goal is to increase silicon carbide production capacity to more than 6.5 times that of 2021 by 2025 and strive for a 30% market share.
