ASE Technology Holding and Infineon Technologies sign long-term supply agreement

ASE Technology Holding has reached a long-term supply agreement with Infineon Technologies for two back-end packaging and testing plants in Cavite, Philippines and Cheonan, South Korea. The transaction is valued at NT$2.1 billion and is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of this year. ASE Technology Holding plans to operate the two plants with the existing employees of the two back-end packaging and testing plants and to further develop them to meet the needs of more customers. At the same time, ASE Technology Holding has signed a long-term supply agreement with Infineon Technologies to ensure that Infineon Technologies can continue to provide products and services to its customers.
