ROHM's SiC substrate layout

Rohm has expanded from the device end to the substrate material end by acquiring German SiCrystal, a SiC substrate manufacturer. In order to meet downstream demand, Rohm decided to produce 8-inch SiC substrates at its second factory in Miyazaki Prefecture, which is expected to start production in 2024.
