More than half a year later, a die-casting machine with the Tesla and Idra logos was photographed at Tesla's California factory, and the situation suddenly became favorable to Idra. That fall, Musk told the world that Tesla used the Idra die-casting machine to make the one-piece rear floor of the Model Y body, reducing the unit manufacturing time by 97%.
