EU takes further trade measures on Chinese electric vehicles

The EU has introduced pre-emptive measures for the "anti-subsidy investigation", requiring customs registration of electric vehicles imported from China, and may impose retroactive tariffs in the future. This is a further measure taken by the EU against Chinese electric vehicles since BYD, SAIC and Geely were subject to anti-subsidy investigations in October last year.
