Infineon Technologies and Hyundai Heavy Industries join forces to promote the development of ship electrification technology

Infineon Technologies and Hyundai Heavy Industries Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (HD KSOE) signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop new marine engines and mechanical electrification using power semiconductor technology to help low-carbon energy conservation. As a global leader in shipbuilding, HD KSOE is committed to developing environmentally friendly and low-carbon ship technologies. Infineon will provide it with technical support for power semiconductor modules and system solutions to jointly promote the electrification of ships.
