BYD recalls 16,666 electric vehicles

BYD Auto Co., Ltd. announced that it will recall 16,666 Seagull electric vehicles produced between April 7, 2023 and May 31, 2023, starting from May 20, 2024. The reason is that there is a problem with the camera driver software in the multimedia display assembly of some vehicles, which may cause the reversing screen to fail to display, posing a safety hazard.
