Rivian lays off employees for the second time this year

Rivian cut 10% of its salaried jobs in February in an effort to cut costs and accelerate profitability as it expects electric vehicle production to fall far short of expectations this year due to slowing demand for electric vehicles caused by factory upgrade shutdowns and high interest rates.
