NIO acquires JAC Motors factory and obtains independent automobile production qualification

In December 2023, NIO and JAC Motors reached an agreement that NIO would acquire the inventory, fixed assets and construction in progress of the three factories of JAC Motors Passenger Vehicle Company, as well as the structures and equipment of the Xinqiao factory of the Passenger Vehicle Company, for RMB 3.158 billion. Through this acquisition, NIO has obtained independent automobile production qualifications, laying the foundation for its future development.
