Volkswagen abandons plans to produce ID.3 in Wolfsburg

In order to reduce costs, Volkswagen decided not to produce the ID.3 electric hatchback at its main plant in Wolfsburg, Germany, but to continue producing it at its pure electric plant in Zwickau in eastern Germany, making full use of the existing factory production capacity.
